2003 Auditions
Auditions for Ms. Oktoberfest of North America 2003 will take place in Vancouver on August 9, 2003. If you are a talented lady over the age of 18 and would like to open doors to new and exciting opportunities while helping out a great cause, we would like to hear from you. We would like to point out that this pageant showcases personality, poise, intellect and talent. Body type, ethnic background, married status and motherhood is not an issue, and there is no swimsuit competition. This pageant strives to do away with the traditional ideologies of beauty pageants and puts the emphasis on fundraising, having fun, meeting great people, and portraying developing talent. Oh, and let's not forget the polka and the bird dance. This pageant strives to spread Oktoberfest's spirit of Gemuetlichkeit!!!

CONSIDERED A SHOWCASE OF TALENT, THE JUDGING CRITERIA FOR THE MISS OKTOBERFEST PAGEANT IS AS FOLLOWS:

Talent 25%

Panel Interview 25%

Evening Gown 20%

Presentation on Oktoberfest 10%

Fundraising 10%

Gemuetlichkeit 10%


From this, the finalists will be selected and asked asked to give a thirty second speech on a topic of their choice worth a bonus of 25% added to their score. From this, a first runner-up and winner will be selected.
